FOKN BOIS & BAVARIA PRESENT: THE “BIG IN GHANA” TALENT HUNT & TOUR
This August upcoming musicians in Ghana will compete to go on tour with FOKN Bois, Efya & Yaa Pono.
FOKN Bois gave the world the first Pidgen Musical "Coz Ov Moni" which is on everybody’s laptop.
They are also popularly known for “Thanking God they're not a Nigerians...”
They have shared stages around the world with Snoop Dogg, Femi Kuti and The Gorillaz.
They have also won the prestigious GUBA Special Achievement Award in the UK.
Now they want to give musicians in Ghana an opportunity to share their good music with the world.
Bavaria is a Dutch beer brand that thinks and behaves differently from the rest.
They are world renowned for their radical advert campaigns with Charlie
Sheen, Hugh Hefner and Mickey Rourke as well as the orange ladies at
the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Bavaria use unusual methods
to get their message across and they have identified this same quality
in the witty ruffians, FOKN Bois, who are ambassadors for their 0%
Alcohol brand. This is a perfect marriage.

One musician or band from each city will
join FOKN Bois, Efya & Yaa Pono to perform live to crowds of over
8,000 people per concert on the FREE “Big In Ghana” Tour:
24th August / Jubilee Park - Takoradi
25th August / Chemu Park C.7 - Tema
31st August / Cultural Center - Kumasi
1st September / Holy Gardens - Accra
FOKN Bois say: “We have chosen Efya and Yaa Pono to support us on our
Big In Ghana Tour because these are two artists that know true
showmanship and musicianship.”
FOKN Bois have been interviewed on
BBC Radio 1, BBC 1XTRA and BBC World Service, and have been featured in
prestigious zines such as Arise, FAB & Canoe. They want to help more
Ghanaian musicians attain their level of visibility.

September, the Ghanaian public will vote for their favorite musician or
band via SMS and voters instantly receive a free ringtone of a song by
their favorite musician or band.
The musician or band with the most
SMS votes will win over 20,000 ghc worth of prizes, including a cash
prize of 3,000 ghc, a recording deal, publishing deal, professional
video, management and promotion.
