FOKN BOIS & BAVARIA PRESENT: THE “BIG IN GHANA” TALENT HUNT & TOUR
This August upcoming musicians in Ghana will compete to go on tour with FOKN Bois, Efya & Yaa Pono.
FOKN Bois gave the world the first Pidgen Musical "Coz Ov Moni" which is on everybody’s laptop.
They are also popularly known for “Thanking God they're not a Nigerians...”
They have shared stages around the world with Snoop Dogg, Femi Kuti and The Gorillaz.
They have also won the prestigious GUBA Special Achievement Award in the UK.
Now they want to give musicians in Ghana an opportunity to share their good music with the world.
Bavaria is a Dutch beer brand that thinks and behaves differently from the rest.
They are world renowned for their radical advert campaigns with Charlie Sheen, Hugh Hefner and Mickey Rourke as well as the orange ladies at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

1st September / Holy Gardens - Accra

The musician or band with the most SMS votes will win over 20,000 ghc worth of prizes, including a cash prize of 3,000 ghc, a recording deal, publishing deal, professional video, management and promotion.

Tema Rail Line To Be Ready By September

Mr. Dan Markin, Board Chairman of Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA), has disclosed to the press that the Tema railway line will be inaugurated in September. This is the line which extends from the Tema Harbor to Tema Community One,it is expected to meet the needs of all manner of people as well as be of a modern standard.According to him,it is near completion and the final work will end in August.
Also a level crossing safety equipment has been provided to prevent trucks from crossing whiles a train is moving,the Acting Chief Executive of GRDA, Mr. Emmanuel Opoku, said.
He also notified the press that the new station and rail line are part of the other six old stations in Accra and expressed the hope that the government would later extend it to Akosombo and other parts of the country.
